BYB bare-knuckle event coming to Albuquerque

The BYB Extreme Fighting Series, a nine-year-old Florida bare-knuckle fighting promotional company that features a triangular ring labeled the “Trigon,” is planning a Jan. 11 event at Revel ABQ.
The event was approved by the New Mexico Athletic Commission during its November meeting on Friday.
The scheduled main event matches two-division BYB champion LT Nelson against England’s James Connelly, with Nelson’s super middleweight title at stake. It’s a rematch of an Aug. 10, 2023 BYB fight that ended in a majority draw.
No other fights have been announced, though it’s likely a number of New Mexicans will be featured on the undercard.
Ticketing information will be announced soon, according to a BYB news release.
