Ice Wolves Developmental Team supports Boys & Girls Club of Central New Mexico

Team will play this weekend's home series in specialty jerseys to be auctioned off after the games

This week the NA3HL Ice Wolves host the Tulsa Oilers for a three-game series. The team will be wearing specialty Boys & Girls Club jerseys that are available for auction on DASH Auctions with all proceeds going to the Club. The jersey auction is open from 11 a.m. Thursday, to 5 p.m. Sunday.

The team plays at 11 a.m. Thursday for its school day matinee game, a unique opportunity for students to take a field trip to a hockey game. The game is sponsored by US Foods and Creamland dairy that help provide lunch and milk to every student in attendance. 

The other two games take place at the usual 6:30 p.m. puck drop time Friday and Saturday at the Outpost Ice Arenas.

LAST WEEK: The Ice Wolves hosted the number-one ranked Texas Brahmas for two games. 

Despite a hard fought two nights, the Ice Wolves lost both games, going to an intense shootout in the second. 

RECORDS AND STANDINGS: The Ice Wolves are fourth in the South Division with a 23-12-1-3 record and have clinched a playoff berth for the 2026 Fraser Cup Playoffs.

The Tulsa Oilers are last in the division, in sixth place, with a 4-36-0-0 record.

PLAYERS TO KNOW: Albuquerque local and team captain, Jake Wenner, recently scored his 100th career point with the Ice Wolves. He leads the team in points with 44 on the season. 

Trailing behind Wenner is assistant captain, Calahan Butler, who has 38 points so far this season.
