Alesia F. Bernasconi-Bell Alesia was born on July 22, 1966 and passed away on December 2nd, 2024 in Rio Rancho. Predeceased by her maternal grandparents Jose and Alcaria Ramirez and paternal grandparents Bruno and Florence Bernasconi, also her Uncle Tony Ramirez, Aunt Mona and Uncle Nap Gallegos. She is survived by her husband Roger, her loving sons Kenneth and Adriana, Anthony, grandsons Thomas, Isaiah, R.J., Lucas, and Adrian. Mother and Father Bruno and Laura Bernasconi, her Uncle David Ramirez, Aunt Mamie Boyd and Aunt Connie Keegan, cousins Tommy Boyd, Michele Rivera and many others. As a single parent, Alesia worked at Intel and went to college. She received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Education at The University of New Mexico. She taught school for 19 years, until she had to medically retire. She survived Colon Cancer for 15 years and 6 months. Alesia lived life to the fullest: going to Italy in 2014, later to New York City, and then to Hawaii in 2023. She had a Harley but really enjoyed her trips on the back of Roger's motorcycle. She never stopped teaching, even after she was forced to retire. She taught English to children in China, she taught her family how to operate their I-Phones, I-Pads, and I-Macs. She also tutored students here so they could keep up with their curriculum. She crafted on her 'Criket' and loved making cookies with her mother for Christmas. Being a proponent of learning, she donated her body to science. Her body has taken up residence at Texas Tech University in hopes that they might find a cure for her cancer. She will be dearly missed by all. Memorial services will be at 10:00 AM on January 25th, 2025 at Our Lady Queen of Angels Church, 1701 Tulip Rd. SE, Rio Rancho. Following mass, in the Parish Hall, there will be a pictorial display of Alesia's life as a small child progressing to adulthood, food will be served as well. Also on January 25th, 2025 there will be a Celebration of Life at 6:00 PM at the Paradise Hills Golf Course, 10035 Country Club Lane NW, Albuquerque.
