Antonio "Tony" Marquez Antonio Marquez, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2025. Born on August 12, 1925, Tony lived a life of service, devotion, and love. As a young man, he proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II, training in San Diego before being stationed in Guam. His courage and sacrifice remain a source of deep pride for his family. Tony was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Perfecta; and his daughter, Sylvia. He is survived by six daughters: Darlene (Reynold), Tess (Gary), Bernadette (Eddie), Cindy (Michael), Penny (Ben), and Victoria (Joshua); grandchildren: Adam (Erika), Danielle, Dean, Samantha, Marcus (Genevive), Zachary, Ben, Nate, Skyler, Alexis, Owen, Ava, and Katie; as well as many nieces and nephews. More than anything, Tony cherished his family. He was a hero both in service to his country and in the way he guided his family with kindness, patience, and unwavering support. His devotion to his wife, daughters, and grandchildren leaves a legacy of love that will continue for generations.
