Betty (Elizabeth) Hull Vivian On Saturday, February 8, 2025, Betty passed away peacefully in her sleep at home. Betty was born April 22, 1940 in Longmont, Colorado to Connie and Cliff Hull. She is a graduate of Highland HS Class of '57 in Albuquerque, NM. Continuing education at Cottey College, UNM, and Highlands University, graduating with a B.A. Degree in English, Speech and Drama. 1962-64 taught at Robertson High in Las Vegas, NM. Taught in A.P.S. 1964-1997 (Albuquerque HS, Eisenhower, and Evening School.) Married Joe Vivian, March 11, 1966. Betty enjoyed sewing, crafting, and wood working in her shop. She was an incredible friend and truly cherished her friendships. She and her husband Joe, whom she adored, had many wonderful cruises because of money from their 9 year ABQ Journal paper route. She was a proud member of CH V-P.E.O. for decades and chaired several of her Highland High School, '57 Reunions. She loved to read, play, and chat with her many great grandchildren and was adored by each and every grandchild and great grandchild. She is survived by her husband, Joe Vivian (ABQ); daughter, Beverly Evetts Cope and husband Jim; daughter, Teri Evetts Pruitt; son, Joe Vivian and wife Kerry; grandchildren, Steven Pruitt, Michelle Miller, Lindsey Pruitt, Lauren Hayes, Samantha Swann, and Baylee Vivian; and 10 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Kathy Holman and brother-in-law Ed Kniep. There will be a Celebration of Life service March 17, 2025 at Eastern Hills Baptist Church, 6600 Morris NE in ABQ, NM at 10am. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Chapter V's educational projects and/or Meals on Wheels. Three words to sum up Betty's Life: Laughter, Love, and Friendships.
