John H. Cleland John H. Cleland much loved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, passed away peacefully at home on September 14, 2025, after a brief illness. He was proceeded in death by his wife of 57 years, Irene R. Cleland, his parents John and Bertha Cleland, and brother William Cleland. John was born in Raton, NM in 1934. On retiring from the Times Mirror Corporation in Los Angels, California, he and Irene moved to Albuquerque to be near family. They enjoyed retirement. John was a long-time member of the Canyon Club at Four Hills, golfing until his knees gave out. John and Irene were avid travelers, cruising around the world several times. John also enjoyed supporting Lobo Basketball attending both men's and women's games. John will be remembered by family and friends as a kind and generous man. The interment of John's and Irene's ashes will be at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe on December 1, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.
