Lorretta Josie Arias-Tapia May 8, 1956 to April 15, 2025 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Lorretta, she passed on April 15, 2025, in the arms of her family. Her sudden passing has left her family and friends who loved her shocked and heartbroken. She was 68 years old. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. Lorretta is survived by her loving children, son Michael Jude Tapia, and her daughter Antoinette Michelle Lopez and husband Martin; as well as her cherished grandchildren, August Tapia, Jalissa Lopez, Mya Tapia, Julian Tapia, Samuel Tapia, Dulcinea Lopez and great granddaughter Aubrey Tapia. Her Aunt Sadie Mitchell, Her sisters Pearl Gallegos and husband Tony Gallegos and Diane Jaquez and husband Juan Jaquez, and Her Auntie Sadie Mitchell. Proceeded in death by her parents Fred Arias and Hope Nevarez, her brother Ramon Bentacu and brother Dennis Tapia, her grandparents, Sofie and Juan Tapia. Lorretta's greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. A celebration of life will be on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 12PM at Three Angels SDA Church, at 10750 Sunset Gardens road SW, 87121. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew Lorretta.
