Philip Alexander Georg Philip A Georg, 75, of Tijeras, NM, died at home of natural causes on Sunday, December 29, 2024. Born September 10, 1949 in Ft. Wayne, IN, he was Honorably discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps in 1974, moved to NM in 1978 eventually landing a job at Sandia National Laboratories from which he retired in 2011 and where his ex-wife Susan G. Moore also worked. Surviving are his brother, David L. Georg, sisters, Carol L. Knueppel and Donna L. Newman, and seven nieces and nephews. Phil was a humanitarian with a playfully serious heart. He loved to adventure and learn and enjoyed participating in activities such as hiking, skydiving, skiing, astronomy, cars, care of pets, conservation efforts, and most recently connecting with friends at local establishments.
