Shirley Ann Pennington Shirley Pennington died peacefully in her sleep, January 11, 2025. Now she is at peace in the arms of Our Lord and her struggles are over. Shirley was a courageous and and determined woman who left Western Pennsylvania by herself to relocate to a brighter more sunny climate. She served Albuquerque for 35 years as a CRNA administering anesthesia in the operating rooms at County Hospital and Presbyterian Hospital. After surviving cancer in 2010, Shirley retired to Phoenix ( 2017 ) to be closer to her brother Bob. She will be remembered as an excellent medical professional respected by all hospital staff, for her kindness, and for the dignity she showed interacting with patients and friends alike.
