Valerie Ann White Valerie Ann White, born on January 22, 1938, to Frank Marx and Minerva Peterson, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2025, at the age of 86. Valerie married the love of her life, Walter C. White, on December 22, 1956. Together, they built a life filled with love and family until Walter's passing on July 21, 2006. Valerie was a devoted mother to her two children: Walter Kenneth White, born in June of 1958, who is married to Bessie Lea White, and Pamela Ann White, born in July of 1961, who preceded her in death on October 8, 2021. Valerie's legacy continues through her cherished granddaughter Amanda Ann Mansfield and her three beloved great-grandchildren: Abigail Ann, Joshua Hunter, and Noah Joseph. Her family brought her immense joy and pride throughout her life. Valerie will be remembered for the love she shared with those closest to her and the memories she created with her family. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her. Valerie was baptized and raised Lutheran in her home state of Wisconsin and passed as a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Valerie was an accomplished gardener and Iris grower and held many elected offices in both the New Mexico Iris Society and the New Mexico Aril Society. She was also an avid bowler for most of her adult life. She loved to watch professional football and rooted hard for the Denver Broncos in the AFC and the Green Bay Packers in the NFC. Funeral Services will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 10000 Spain Rd. SE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87111, on Saturday, January 25th, 2025 at 11:00 am
