Tres Piedras Primitive Shooting Range to close for maintenance on Oct. 13
The New Mexico Department of Game and Fish will close the Tres Piedras Primitive Shooting Range on Saturday, Oct. 13, for maintenance.
Public access to the range will be completely restricted during the closure. The range will reopen on Sunday, Oct. 14.
The department will also close the range on the first Wednesday of January, April and July, with other closures occurring as needed for repairs. NMDGF asks the public to remember to pack out all shooting trash, including shell casings and targets; and not to shoot at glass or other items not designed to be shot at on the range.
