Inside the numbers: UNM Lobos, San Diego State have long history in Mountain West Tournament
Lobos, Aztecs square off late Friday for the eighth, and last, time in the MW Tournament
San Diego State and New Mexico have squared off seven times in the Mountain West Tournament. The victor in that game won the MW Tournament title all seven of those years.
Friday night will be the eighth and final time the two teams play in the MW Tournament, as the Aztecs are moving to the Pac-12 after the season.
