They will rock you
Killer Queen, one of the world’s leading tribute bands to Queen, is coming to the Kiva Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 20. Killer Queen is fronted by Patrick Myers taking on the role of Feddie Mercury. Tickets start at $37, plus fees, at ticketmaster.com. The Kiva is located at 401 Second St. NW.

“Georgia O’Keeffe: The Brightness of Light,” the feature-length documentary on the life and works of the artist who called New Mexico home, has extended its run at the Violet Crown Cinema. The fourth annual Socorro County Women’s Artist Showcase is on display from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Monday, March 31, at the Macey Center at New Mexico Tech. This year’s theme is “Nature” and features works in a variety of mediums. The Macey Center is located at 801 Leroy Place in Socorro.
Multifaceted
The Rio Grande Art Association is holding its first multi-media show to include 3D works at Weems Gallery. The exhibition runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, through Saturday, March 29. The gallery is located at 5935 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
Back for more
Goodnight, Texas is back in New Mexico for performances in Albuquerque and Santa Fe with Todd Day Wait. Goodnight, Texas will play at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, at Tumbleroot Brewery & Distillery, 2791 Agua Fria St., in Santa Fe. Then the band will play at 7:30 p.m. at Fusion | 708, 708 First St. NW. Come together
The Black Jacket Symphony is bringing you The Beatles’ “Abbey Road” at 8 p.m. Monday, March 17. The symphony will re-create the album in its entirety, plus perform a full set of The Beatles’ greatest hits. Tickets are $35-$40, at artsandculture.cabq.gov. As the wind blows
The University of New Mexico Wind Symphony is performing at Popejoy Hall at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 14. The program includes Cindy McTee’s “Circuits,” Jim Self’s Clarinet “Polka” and “Tour de Force,” Stephen Gryc’s “Stone Colors” and Paul Dooley’s “Masks and Machines.” Tickets are $10-$15, plus fees, at unmtickets.evenue.net.
