ABQ celebrates Small Business Month with free resource fair
The city of Albuquerque is hosting a small business resource fair Wednesday in the Northeast Heights.
It’s a way to recognize and support small businesses during the ongoing Small Business Month, according to the city. The Small Business Office, Job Training Albuquerque and Planning Department are hosting the event.
“Albuquerque’s small businesses are the heart of our local economy, and we’re committed to helping them succeed,” Mayor Tim Keller said in a statement.
The free event will feature resource presentations, consultations and networking opportunities. More than 30 organizations will offer support at the fair, including local agencies, lenders and marketing agencies, according to the city.
The first 100 participants will also receive a voucher for an on-site food truck.
Registration is online at abqedd.com/events.
