Six local record stores to check out in Albuquerque
With vinyl records making a comeback, the question is: "Where can I find a local record store in Albuquerque?"
1. One Long Groove
One Long Groove focuses on restoring old records to help bring that vinyl back to the community. Collectors can purchase a vinyl to add to the collection, sell any vinyl collections at the store as well. Before selling, One Long Groove also machine cleans the records to ensure the best sound quality.

2. LongHair Records
LongHair Records holds a large stock of vinyl records, cassette tapes, VHS tapes, compact discs and more at their store. The store even holds a small collection of books with vintage pressing. There is a wide variety of genres in stock for every listening platform someone might be interested in, and all devices and stock are tested before being sold. LongHair is also available for small repairs on audio equipment. Besides selling a wide range of music, the store also hosts music events.

3. Nob Hill Music
Nob Hill Music sells all things music and music equipment. From cassettes, to CDs and vinyls, Nob Hill Music has a wide range of everything a music fanatic might need. While their strength lies in jazz and rock music, they have a little bit of everything from each genre. Along with a strong jazz section, the store's website boasts the "Best Frank Sinatra vinyl collection in town." If Nob Hill does not have what a collector or casual fan is looking for, patrons of the store can go on to the website and request the records they are looking for. The store also sells listening equipment, tools for equipment upkeep, vinyl art, album label coasters and vinyl canvas paintings.

4. SloLow Records
SloLow Records is located inside Antiques and Things. From jazz, to rock to soul, there is something for everyone at this store. The store also hosts events to learn more about analog style music, complete with a turntable clinic. For those who don't have the time to stop in the store, SloLow also sells records on EBay and Discogs through the store's website.

5. Charley's Records and CDs
Charley's Records has been open since 1988. The store still maintains the older record store aesthetic, and sells a wide variety of music. Not only does the store sell records, there are also back patches, bath robes, hats and T-shirts.

6. Astro-Zombies
While Astro-Zombies is a comic store, that doesn't stop them from selling a variety of new and old vinyl records. Ranging from the Beastie Boys to Mac Miller, Astro-Zombies sells records for all genres.
