Five people shot at house party in SW ABQ
BCSO: Conditions of victims unknown, details are limited
Five people are in unknown condition after being shot during a house party in Southwest Albuquerque on Sunday.
It is unclear if there are any suspects.
At about 2:44 a.m., the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of shots fired in the area of Blake Road and Coors Boulevard.
When deputies arrived, “they made contact with numerous individuals at the scene and located victims suffering from gunshot wounds,” BCSO spokesperson Jayme Gonzales said in a news release.
Five people - including one juvenile - were taken to local hospitals. Their conditions are unknown, she said.
“The scene has been secured and BCSO detectives are actively investigating the circumstances that led up to the shooting,” Gonzales said. “Because this is a very early and active investigation, additional details are limited at this time. Detectives are continuing to work to determine exactly what occurred and identify everyone involved.
She said anyone with information related to the incident is asked to contact BCSO. Tips can be submitted anonymously through Tip411 by texting BCSO and your tip to 847411.
