City to host business resource fair on Wednesday
The city of Albuquerque is bringing a small business resource fair to the Taylor Ranch Community Center.
City officials said the free event, taking place on Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., will offer attendees access to more than two dozen resources, including financial institutions and marketing agencies.
“Empowering our local entrepreneurs is vital for the growth and prosperity of Albuquerque,” city Economic Development Director Max Gruner said in a statement. “We are bringing together a diverse range of organizations to support our vibrant small business community with the tools they need to succeed.”
The event will also feature officials from Job Training Albuquerque — the city’s workforce development program — who will give a rundown on the “diverse array of over 100 skills-based training programs across various industries,” according to the city.
Also in attendance will be the state’s Cannabis Control Division and the New Mexico Liquor Control Division, the latter of which will give a half-hour presentation to provide information on obtaining liquor licenses.
