Olive Garden is getting ready to spread the love — and its endless breadsticks — to more of Albuquerque’s West Side.

The Italian restaurant chain, known for its hearty pasta dishes served with endless breadsticks and soup or salad, will open a new location at 3823 Coors NW this fall.

The restaurant is expected to open in early November and create roughly 150 jobs, Olive Garden spokesperson Brittany Baron wrote in an email.

“We’re thrilled for Olive Garden to open on Coors Boulevard in Albuquerque and can’t wait to serve guests,” Baron said.

The restaurant will be Albuquerque’s fourth Olive Garden, according to the company’s website, which lists the new location’s opening date as Nov. 3. The chain also has one location each in Santa Fe, Farmington and Las Cruces.

Baron cited the “outstanding support” from the Albuquerque community, as well as the “long-term growth potential” of the Coors Boulevard area as motivators for the expansion.

The Olive Garden will join several businesses planned for Oxbow Center, a new development underway on the corner of Coors and St. Josephs NW near St. Pius X High School.

The restaurant is directly next door to 7 Brew, currently the center’s lone open tenant. Future neighbors include a Raising Cane’s, Sunward Federal Credit Union, a sit-down Mexican concept and a new-to-market burger concept, according to a Commercial Association of Realtors New Mexico listing.
