Observed the facility has inadequate procedures to effectively control pests. Observed multiple mouse droppings under soda syrup inside cabinet at the time of inspection.

Result: Immediate closure

Copper Lounge, 1504 Central SE (Jan. 2)

Interior intake and exhaust air ducts with debris build up. Inadequate amount of lighting. Food items in bar garnish expediting window measuring above 41° Fahrenheit. Equipment food-contact surface with the build up of soil residues. Ready-to-eat time and temperature controlled for safety food commercially prepared opened in the facility with no date marking indicators. Facility did not provide lockers or other suitable facilities for storage of employees clothing or other personal belongings. Poisonous or toxic materials stored in a manner that has the potential to contaminate food. Food employee did not wash hands when required. Cleaned utensils stored improperly. Non-ready-to-eat raw animal food stored with ready-to-eat food without protection from contamination. Wiping cloths improperly used. Food employee without proper hair restraints.

Result: Immediate closure.

The facility has inadequate procedures to effectively control pests. Several cockroaches were observed on wall behind warewash machine. Inadequate air gap at floor drain under ice machine. Three compartment sink faucet is not maintained in good repair or is not repaired by law. Floor drain near make station is not maintained in good repair or is not repaired by law
