A data science company with a global presence is establishing roots in Uptown, but the move goes beyond office space.
RS21, a data science company that uses tech and tools like artificial intelligence to help organizations make decisions, will be opening a new office space at Winrock Town Center this fall, the company shared in a news release.
The company, headquartered in New Mexico, said the move reflects the company’s “long-term commitment” to New Mexico’s economy and the revitalization of Albuquerque’s Uptown district.
“RS21 is doubling down on New Mexico,” the company’s CEO, Charles Rath, said in a statement. “Doing (our) work from a hub of economic activity aligns with our mission to ‘do good with data’ and support inclusive growth in our home state.”
The office space is situated within the center’s newly constructed Portland Building, a three-story Class A office and retail space located at 2100 Louisiana NE.
Construction on the roughly 30,000-square-foot building was completed in late 2024 and has since welcomed tenants including StretchLab, Hyena’s Comedy Club and Goodman Realty Group, the center’s developer.
RS21’s new office space, slated to open in October, will feature a conference room, multiple offices, common areas, a break room and two balconies, the news release said.
The company plans to use the 3,340-square-foot space for workshops, demonstrations, recruiting and meetings with clients and partners, the release added.
“We’re excited to welcome RS21 to the Portland Building and to continue activating Winrock as a premier destination for business and community in Albuquerque,” said Scott Goodman, president of Goodman Realty Group, in a statement.
