The left lane on Interstate 25 northbound was closed for a few hours Thursday morning after a crash 12 miles south of Santa Fe, according to the New Mexico Department of Transportation.

The crash occurred shortly before 8 a.m. in the area of La Bajada, where construction work has been underway since 2022.

By 9:30 a.m. it was cleared.
