Drum beats and cymbal clashes provided a soundtrack as brightly colored scarves and fans swished while performers demonstrated traditional Chinese dances and martial arts techniques.
Dancers from the Albuquerque Chinese Happy Dance Group, Chinese American Citizens Alliance Youth Dance Troupe, Lin's Martial Arts, the Chinese Cultural Center and Albuquerque Chinese Folk Dance Ensemble and Nrityasudha Dance Company among others, performed traditional dances in celebration of Asian American Pacific Islander month at The National Museum of Nuclear Science and History on Saturday.
