Where can you camp in the Jemez?

RVs along Forest Road 376 between New Mexico 126 and Porter’s Landing in the Jemez Ranger District of the Santa Fe National Forest. Despite some large groups, spots with fire rings were available for dispersed camping were available on April 26. The area past Cebolla water shed had fewer campers.

An area along New Mexico 4 between La Cueva and Los Alamos just before the Jemez Falls Campground is being cleared. It used to be used for dispersed camping.

Jemez Falls Campground is currently closed, but is scheduled to open July 30 according to the Santa Fe National Forest.
