The Boys & Girls Club of New Mexico, in partnership with Warehouse 505 and students from five different middle schools, is unveiling artist- and student-painted murals at schools across the city this week and next.

A mural painted by artist Mela KC and students from Truman Middle School was revealed at the Southwest Albuquerque site on Wednesday night, featuring images that represent New Mexico to the students.

Three murals are being unveiled in the South Valley: Harrison Middle School on Thursday afternoon; Ernie Pyle Middle School at 5 p.m. Tuesday; and Polk Middle School at 6 p.m. on Wednesday. On Thursday, May 16, the painting at Taylor Middle School in Northwest Albuquerque will be shown at 5 p.m.

All of the mural unveilings are open to students, parents, teachers and the public, and all are encouraged to attend.
