As Pride Month kicks off, here are some events to join across the state

New Mexico is bursting with Pride this summer, offering a vibrant array of LGBTQ+ events across the state. From parades and festivals to art shows and drag performances, there’s something for everyone to celebrate love, diversity and community. Here’s your guide to five Pride events happening throughout New Mexico in 2025:
1Albuquerque PrideFest & Parade
Join the city’s largest Pride celebration featuring a parade, live music, drag performances, food trucks and community booths. The parade will head down Central Avenue in the Nob Hill neighborhood.
WHEN: Saturday, June 7; parade at 10 a.m.; festival from 2-8:30 p.m.
WHERE: Festival at Civic Plaza in Downtown Albuquerque

2Santa Fe Pride on the Plaza
Santa Fe’s signature Pride celebration returns with a full day of festivities at the historic Santa Fe Plaza. This event welcomes all ages and kicks off with the Pride Drive Parade, followed by live music, local vendors, food trucks, a beer garden and family-friendly activities.

3Farmington Pride in the Park
Farmington’s Pride in the Park will include drag performances, along with live music, food trucks, vendors, and speakers.

4 Taos Pride Trivia
Put your LGBTQ+ knowledge to the test at Taos Pride Trivia Night, a lively evening hosted by duo Dani & Gabby. You can form a team with friends or join one upon arrival, but everyone is welcome to participate and compete for prizes.

5Eastern New Mexico Family Pridefest
Held in Portales City Park, this festival offers a welcoming space for LGBTQ+ and two-spirit individuals, their families and allies. Attendees can enjoy live entertainment, food trucks, a variety of vendors, and activities tailored for all ages.
