Bobby Beals is always looking for a way to get eyes on art in Santa Fe.

As the curation and owner of Bobby Beals Presents …, the Santa Fe resident wanted to do a pop-up exhibition that celebrates love.

“Artists participating in this group show have poured their hearts into creating pieces that evoke emotions, provoke thought, and celebrate the many dimensions of love,” Beals says. “From classic romantic themes to explorations of self-love and platonic connections, the exhibition promises to be a visual feast that resonates with the essence of Valentine’s Day.”

“The Love Exhibition” will open from 4-6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9, at Bobby Beals Presents..., located at Bishop’s Lodge, Auberge Resorts Collection, 1297 Bishops Lodge Road in Santa Fe.

Fifteen artists are participating and include Alexandra Eldridge, Tim Kenney, Tracy Hollister, Cody Brothers, Reina Dos and Jeddadiah Emanuel. The exhibition will be up through Feb. 17.

“Love is a powerful force that inspires creativity, and we are thrilled to showcase the diverse interpretations of this universal theme through the eyes of talented artists,” Beals says. “The ‘Love’ exhibition is a celebration of artistic expression and the myriad ways love enriches our lives.”

Beals began working with the artists in late 2023 as the idea was being planted.

“I did a lot of studio visits and talked to each artist about their pieces,” he says. “One of my favorite things is being in the studio with artists and talking to them about their process behind their art.”
