Anthony D. Nuzzo caught this smallmouth bass from a boat next to the shore at Navajo Lake using artificial corn with garlic scent on May 29.
Billy Jack Miller caught a walleye on his first cast using a 4-inch green speckled curly-tailed grub on the Rio Grande below Elephant Butte Lake and Caballo Lake on June 2.
Jamison caught a trout at Bonito Lake using worms on May 26.

Fishing for trout at Clayton Lake was fair to good using Salmon Peach PowerBait.
Fishing for crappie at Conchas Lake was fair to good using Ned rigs. Fishing for bass, walleye and bluegill was very good using white-and-silver jigs, tiny torpedoes and Zara spooks.

Please remember, from the river-crossing bridge on U.S. Highway 84 at Abiquiú upstream 7 miles to the base of Abiquiú Dam is special trout waters with a bag limit of only two trout.
