James Romero of Santa Fe caught a 24-inch brown trout on the Pecos River using a worm on Sept. 21.

Eli Sanchez of Rio Rancho caught a 21-inch rainbow trout on the Red River using a nymph fly near the town of Red River on Sept. 13.

Juan Cardoza, 13, of Albuquerque caught a 12.5-inch Rio Grande cutthroat trout at Fenton Lake using Yellow PowerBait Eggs on Sept. 15.
