Red River Hatchery pond is currently closed in order to replace the water supply line. The maintenance project is expected to be completed in September with water flows to the pond resuming shortly after.

Please remember, from the river-crossing bridge on U.S. Highway 84 at Abiquiú upstream 7 miles to the base of Abiquiú Dam is special trout waters with a bag limit of only two trout.
