Going to Brooks & Dunn at Isleta? Boot scoot around these road closures
Brooks & Dunn is slated to perform a sold-out show on Saturday, June 1, at Isleta Amphitheater.
On Thursday, Live Nation, which runs the amphitheater, released a traffic plan for the concert.
“Local authorities have closed University Street indefinitely which means that Bobby Foster Road will be the only available route for Saturday’s Brooks & Dunn show at Isleta Amphitheater,” the release stated. “We encourage attendees to arrive early and anticipate traffic delays.”
Bernalillo County officials said the road is closed "until further notice" as the military investigates the recent crash of an F35 fighter jet into a hillside south of Rio Bravo.
To help alleviate these delays, Isleta Amphitheater is opening the parking lot early at 2:30 p.m. Doors will now open at 4 p.m.
Fans who arrive early can head into the North Plaza for a happy hour hang which includes live music and access to artist merch.
The first 1,000 fans at the pre-party will receive a complimentary ticket to select upcoming shows.
