Jennifer K. Lambert to discuss 'Never the Roses' at Books on the Bosque
AT BOOKS ON THE BOSQUE
Santa Fe author Jennifer K. Lambert will present her fantasy novel “Never the Roses” at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2. In the story, a sorceress is haunted by unforgivable sins, a sorcerer is caught in the wars of men, and their treacherous bond might be their ruin.
Adrien Lawyer, co-founder and executive of the Transgender Resource Center of New Mexico, will discuss the book he co-authored “Gender Transition for Dummies” at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7.
Co-authors Marie Parks and Jes Honard will chat about their books “Unrelenting” and “Undeniable” at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8. The two volumes are part of the Grigori Cycle. “Unrelenting” won the 2022 New Mexico-Arizona Book Award for Best LGBTQ book.

IN TAOS
At 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, A. Fisher (aka Anita Amstutz) will discuss her book “The Bee Priestess.” Sharing the stage is Lou McCall, who will talk about her book “Meditation for Everyone.” The authors will be at SOMOS Salon, 108 Civic Plaza Drive in Taos.
Author-historian Hampton Sides is the featured writer/speaker at two fundraising events for SOMOS on Saturday, Nov. 8.
The first event is a reception at 4 p.m. at SOMOS Salon. Sides will read selections from his work.
Then at 6 p.m. Sides will read excerpts from his writing and autograph copies of his books in the Encore Gallery, Taos Center for the Arts, 133 Paseo del Pueblo Norte.
