Place your bets: Sandia Resort & Casino opens new Sports Book

Sports fans will soon have a venue to wager their sports picks at Sandia Resort & Casino.

The casino will open its state-of-the-art Sandia Sportsbook on Wednesday, Nov. 13. The venue spans an impressive 10,000 square feet and is located on the third floor of the property which encompasses a bar and restaurant. The space offers breathtaking views of the Sandia Mountains and a wrap around patio where visitors can also take in a spectacular view of the greater Albuquerque area.

Sandia Sportsbook boasts the highest wager limits in the state with a $8,000 cap per bet. Twelve kiosks, located in the Sandia Sportsbook and on the casino floor, offer a $500 limit per bet.

Sports fans can grab a bite from an extensive menu at the Sandia Sportsbook Bar & Grille that features specialties like the "Knock Your Socks Off" Frito Pie, smoked favorites including a brisket plate and Low & Slow Smoked St. Louis Style Ribs, signature dishes including the Steamed Crab Leg Platter and the Cowboy Steak featuring a Iowa corn-fed 100% Angus 16-ounce ribeye, and several desserts such as the Sports Bar Rx made up of warm cinnamon sugar coated cake donut holes served with two flavors of injectable syringes filled with Nutella chocolate sauce and raspberry jelly.

The bar offers a variety of crafted cocktails including Sandia's Sunset made with Empress Gin 1908, lemon juice and grapefruit juice as well as the Flying Sandia Slushie made with Absolut watermelon vodka and Red Bull Edition Watermelon, draft and canned beer, wine and non-alcoholic mocktails such as the Cherry "Pop!" made with vanilla bean, black cherry and lemon soda are also offered.

The luxurious Sandia Resort, opened in 2006, features more than 200 rooms and suites, each showcasing stunning views and modern comforts."

Sandia Resort & Casino has transformed itself into becoming a must see destination.
