Stephen M. Bush Memorial Shooting Range to close for maintenance the third Wednesday of each month
The New Mexico Department of Game and Fish is closing the Stephen M. Bush Memorial Shooting Range in Clayton for maintenance.
On the third Wednesday of each month, the range will close at sunrise and reopen at sunrise the following day. The closure is to allow for trash and debris to be removed safely from the range. Public access will be restricted on days the range is closed.
The department would like to remind the public to pack out shooting trash, including targets and shell casings, and to not shoot glass or other objects not intended for the range.
Stephen M. Bush Memorial Shooting Range is located at 53 Lake Highway in Clayton.
