Country superstar Tim McGraw has canceled his Aug. 24 concert at Sandia Resort & Casino.
McGraw will undergo needed orthopedic surgery on both knees this month due to an injury he sustained on tour, according to a Sandia Resort & Casino news release. This will prevent him from performing any shows for the remainder of this year.
"Tim hates to disappoint fans, but he intends to rest and do physical therapy so he can deliver tremendous concerts for many years to come," according to the news release.
Tickets purchased online at Etix for the Aug. 24 concert will be automatically refunded within seven to 10 business days. Tickets bought at the Sandia's box office can be refunded at the box office through Sept. 30.
