Verus Research continues to sponsor DynaTheater at New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science
The New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science is an institution for education.
That education comes in all forms of mediums.
One of those is the Verus Research DynaTheater, which awarded $50,000 to the New Mexico Museum of Natural History Foundation to be the presenting sponsor of the theater.
“The New Mexico Museum of Natural History Foundation is grateful for this generous support from Verus Research,” says Abigail Eaton, CEO of the New Mexico Museum of Natural History Foundation. “Over the years, Verus Research has been a valuable partner. We’re so appreciative of their vision and support of our mission.”
The Verus Research DynaTheater is a 3D digital, large-format theater at NMMNHS, located at 1801 Mountain Road NW.
The theater seats up to 270 guests, featuring educational films daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Current film titles include “Secrets of the Sea 3D,” “Everest” and “Dinosaurs of Antarctica 3D.”
“Secrets of the Sea 3D” is the most recent film to join the line-up at the Verus Research DynaTheater. The documentary explores some of the ocean’s strangest and most spectacular creatures. It is narrated by actress Joelle Carter.
Viewers will see everything from adorable pygmy seahorses and opalescent squid, to manta rays, tiger sharks, a coconut octopus and much more.
At the helm of the film are underwater filmmakers Howard and Michele Hall and Jonathan Bird. Alan Williams is the composer.
Eaton says the film takes viewers face-to-face with an astonishing array of marine critters, showing the fascinating ways they interact with each other and their environment.
It was filmed in the Philippines, Mexico, Tahiti, Indonesia, Palau, Hawaii, California and other locations, and featuring more than 70 different marine species,
Eaton says each year, more than 20,000 visitors enjoy the Verus Research DynaTheater experience.
She says Verus Research has an elite team of scientists and research engineers with compelling experience in advanced electromagnetic simulation and analysis, microwave system modeling, design and implementation, nuclear systems analysis and radiation effects, multidisciplinary systems integration, and more.
Verus Research has been the presenter of the DynaTheater since 2019.
