A boot stompin' good time
The park best known for balloons transformed into a rootin’ tootin’ good time last weekend.
Boots in the Park took over Balloon Fiesta Park on Saturday and Sunday.
Some of country music’s stars, including Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, Jon Pardi and Ian Munsick, came to Albuquerque to blend their classical country twang and modern grooves for two days of country music.
In a space that traditionally leaves folks craning their necks to the sky, the recent attraction was all about the boots on the ground. The Journal photographed hundreds of people line dancing to country jams and twirling their partners around and around.
