APD investigating fatal shooting in Northeast Albuquerque

Police started a homicide investigation after a person was found dead of a gunshot Tuesday evening along East Central.
The Albuquerque Police Department responded to the call of a homicide in the 100 block of Rhode Island NE, just north of Central, when officers found the person, APD spokesperson Rebecca Atkins said in a news release around 8:45 p.m.
"More details will be released when they are available," she said.
