BernCo Metropolitan Court opening delayed due to security threat
The Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court delayed opening until 10:30 a.m. Thursday as a "security precaution," according to a news release.
Camille Baca, the public information officer for the Court, said in an email, "Among other courts nationwide, the Metropolitan Court did receive a security threat this morning."
Baca said the court was "closed per standard protocol," until the threat was investigated and "determined not to be credible."
Baca said those with hearings earlier in the morning should report to the courts at 10:30 a.m.
No other information has been released at this time.
