Albuquerque Metro Crime Stoppers is looking for a man who gunned down another man following a fight in Southeast Albuquerque on April 4.

At about 3:15 p.m. Friday, the Albuquerque Police Department responded to a call of a man who had been shot and killed near Central and Indiana, Albuquerque Police Department spokesperson Gilbert Gallegos said.

Earlier, police learned two men had gotten into a fight, Crime Stoppers Coordinator Alicia Hernandez said. After the confrontation, another man shot one of the men in the forearm before the bullet hit Brian Miller, 39, who died at the scene, she said.

The suspect ran south on Indiana and east on Cochiti, she said. The second man who was shot was taken to a hospital with injuries that did not "appear to be life-threatening," Gallegos said.

The suspect is believed to frequent the Southeast Albuquerque, specifically in the area of Central and Indiana, Hernandez said.

Anyone with information, she said, can contact Crime Stoppers, anonymously, at 505-843-STOP (7867), visit p3tips.com/531 or text "ABQCS" to 738477, and may receive up to a $2,500 reward.
