Police say a food delivery driver may be the person who drove over someone crawling in a Northeast Albuquerque street, killing them, last month.
Albuquerque Metro Crime Stoppers, in a Wednesday post on Facebook, said a silver Toyota 4Runner was involved in the Feb. 21 hit-and-run crash that happened on Lomas NE.
At about 11:30 p.m., the driver was heading west on Lomas at Stanford by the University of New Mexico Hospital when they hit a person who was crawling in the road and drove off, the Albuquerque Police Department said previously.
The person, who was not identified by police, was taken to the hospital, where they died.
"The driver appears to be female and may possibly be employed by DoorDash," Crime Stoppers said in its social media post.
