Tread-heads put on their best costumes and took to their bikes last weekend.

The Day of the Tread cycling events were held on Saturday and Sunday. Cycling and Halloween enthusiasts took to the streets for a series of cycling events that stretched as long as 73 miles, but the party was just as much about the costumes as the cruising.

An ensemble of bicyclists from “The Wizard of Oz” and the alien from the “Alien” franchise were some of the participants who were recognized for their creativity.
