Firefighters rescue man who climbed up scaffolding on Downtown building
Albuquerque Fire Rescue rescued a man from a Downtown building scaffold Tuesday afternoon.

An unidentified man is in a local hospital after climbing up a Downtown building Tuesday evening.
According to an Albuquerque Fire Rescue social media post, at about 5 p.m. Tuesday, AFR a man climbed up 12 levels on scaffolding on the AT&T building by Fourth and Cooper that was being used to repair exterior walls.
"He appeared to be intoxicated and was reportedly moving in an uncoordinated fashion," the post states.
Firefighters later found him lying on a scaffolding 150 feet above the street, "stable, and in no distress," Fire Rescue said.
AFR said firefighters secured him in a litter and used a vertical high angle rope to lower him from the scaffold.
It is unclear if the man will be charged.
