A man was found dead in a park near Uptown on Sunday afternoon.
Gilbert Gallegos, a spokesman for the Albuquerque Police Department, said officers responded to Jerry Cline Park at 7001 Constitution Avenue NE after a 911 caller reported an individual at the park who appeared to not be breathing.
“Officers determined the man was deceased. Evidence at the scene led investigators to call homicide detectives to start an investigation,” Gallegos said. “The investigation is ongoing. Additional information will be released as it becomes available."
