Person dead after police shooting in Truth or Consequences

A person was killed after a shooting involving a New Mexico State Police officer on Tuesday.
The officer is OK, according to an NMSP social media post.
Police are investigating two scenes: at a Chevron station in the 2200 block of North Date Street and on High Winds Road, west of N.M. 181.
"Details limited. Updates via news release when available," the post states.
