The intoxicating aroma of spices awakens the senses as the vibrant dance of fire and flavor unfolds. It is chile roasting season in the Land of Enchantment. Many people refer to this robust pepper as “New Mexico gold,” and Big Jim Farms is offering that very “gold” to the community. The green chile U-pick is now officially open for the season, and everyone is invited to handpick their chiles and have them roasted on-site. Additionally, marigolds, zinnias and sunflowers are also available for picking.
