Paramedics reportedly found the man unconscious near Zuni and Louisiana SE in Albuquerque on June 30. Since then, he has remained unconscious with brain injuries at University of New Mexico Hospital.

"He suffered a cardiac arrest, and his care team believes a significant amount of time had passed before anyone reported his condition," according to a news release sent out by UNMH on Wednesday.

The hospital is asking the public's help to find those who knew the man, who is 5 feet, 10 inches tall and estimated to be in his 50s or early 60s.

The Albuquerque Police Department fingerprinted the man, but no matches were found in law enforcement databases, according to the release. UNMH social workers also spoke to people in the area where he was found, "but no credible information has emerged."

The hospital released photos of the man and several of his tattoos, saying UNMH got him a legal guardian to make decisions on his behalf and provide consent to release the photos and information.
