US 550/Highway 528 traffic signal operating again, but not 'at full efficiency'
Traffic signs at the intersection of US 550 and state Highway 528 are out. NMDOT crews are making emergency repairs.

After several hours, the traffic signal on U.S. Highway 550 and state Highway 528 in Rio Rancho was operational once again, though not "at full efficiency," New Mexico Department of Transportation spokesperson Kim Gallegos said.
NMDOT is waiting to receive and install additional components, she said.
"We will continue to work towards getting the intersection back in full operation," Gallegos said.
At about 11:45 a.m. Monday, NMDOT started performing emergency repairs to address a traffic signal outage.
