Woman found dead in Southeast Albuquerque; incident being investigated as homicide

The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating the death of a woman in Southeast Albuquerque.
At 9:10 p.m. Sunday, officers received a call of a woman who appeared to be dead in the 300 block of Chama, near Copper and Louisiana. When they arrived, the woman was dead, APD spokesperson Gilbert Gallegos said in a news release Monday.
“Evidence at the scene led to a full homicide investigation, which is underway,” he said.
