Geoff Grammer's AP Top 25 ballot: Five new teams, including one from the Mountain West

OK, Danny Sprinkle. I get it.

Your Utah State Aggies are pretty good.

Sure, I'm OK with any argument for about 10-12 teams being worthy of putting in spots 20-25 on this week's AP Top 25, but for the Mountain West's Aggies, 14-1 with four top 100 KenPom wins, including Saturday's win over No. 13 Colorado State was enough for me.

Utah State breaks into my AP Top 25 ballot this week and joins fellow Mountain West teams San Diego State (up to 17 on my ballot from No. 22 last week) and Colorado State (I dropped from 15 to 18, still ahead of Utah State despite Saturday's result in Logan, Utah).

In addition to Utah State, I included for other newcomers to my ballot, all with similar stories. I'm still a little unsure about them, but but the teams I had been repeatedly ranking on the back end of my ballot weren't exactly lighting it up either.

So, here we go. My latest AP Top 25 ballot that I'm sure everyone will agree with. And to let me know just how perfect my ballot is, please feel free to find my on X @GeoffGrammer.
