Ice Wolves host Warriors for weekend series at Outpost
NM Ice Wolves forward, Anton Malyshev gets ready for a game at Outpost Ice Arenas.
The New Mexico Ice Wolves (2-1) are back on the ice this Friday and Saturday at Outpost Ice Arenas to host the Oklahoma Warriors (1-1). The puck drops at 6:30 p.m. on both nights.
In addition to watching the Ice Wolves attempt to keep their winning streak alive — now at two games — fans in attendance at Friday’s game will get a chance to meet special guests: the Lobo volleyball team. Additionally, college students can get a free hot chocolate (with their student id’s.)
On Saturday, fans will get an opportunity to skate with the players after the game.
LAST WEEK: The Ice Wolves opened the season against the Amarillo Wranglers in a three-game series going 2-1. Anton Malyshev quickly proved himself as a new member of the roster, netting both goals for the Ice Wolves in Sunday’s 2-1 win.

PLAYERS TO KNOW: Last season’s leading scorer for the Ice Wolves, Andy Earl — 26 goals in the 2024-25 season — recently earned the South Division Star of the Week, putting up five points in the team’s opening weekend with two goals and three assists.
